Reversible Fabric Cuff Bracelet

Here are the pictures of the Reversible Fabric Cuff Bracelet I made for Gigi. She can wear it when she is feeling pink or wear it when she is feeling purple. It is my first attempt at the bracelets, so they are not perfect, but I sure think they are neat!

My Newest Creations

The picture doesn't do this justice. It is gorgeous!

I have had the create and crafting bug for awhile now. I have so many projects floating in my head, it is amazing that I can see straight! Unfortunately I want to do it all and am having a hard time concentrating on any one project. Bows, bow holders, door hangers, fabric cuff bracelets, sock animals...I need to do it all!!
Anyway....here are my latest creations. I am so proud of, amazed at and in love with my latest (Large) Tutu Bow Holder. It is a piece of art. I want to hang it in my room for art instead of hanging it in Princess Gigi's room for bows! I also finished a new Tinker Bell Bow for Gigi and a fabric cuff bracelet (picture to come). While making the fabric cuff bracelet I had an idea to make a hair bow out of fabric! I think it came out pretty good considering it was just a concept in my head and it was the first time doing such a thing. I finished it off by covering a button with the same fabric and sewing it on. In a funny way it reminds me of a clown bowtie. I almost expect the middle to spin around and squirt water!! hahaha...but it doesn't.

Imagination at Play

The girls and I had to drive up to Ann Arbor today to pick out new frames for Gabrielle. Her lense prescription changed and she was due for new frames. She got to pick out big girl glasses (the ones that don't have rubber wrap around arms). Her only request was that they HAD to be PINK! She wasn't convinced at first because the pair she tried on was not pink (they have to order the pink ones) but the Optical lady showed her the cool pink princess purse she will get with her new glasses and she was sold! Since we drove to Ann Arbor I decided to take the girls to Urban Toddler in Saline so they could do some imaginative play. We spent 2 1/2 hours there and they loved it. The last time we were there Giana was just a baby and could only go to Infant Park. She had a riot going to the library, market and other play areas.
